Q: Has anyone had problems with their 2007 Toyota Camry LE?
After I bought my new toyota, I began to read bad reviews for that car. I'm reading that they have bad transmissions? Is this true? I have a 2007 Toyota Camry LE 4 Cylinder.
A: I bought the '07 camry SE. everything is great so far (around 4 weeks.)
The reviews I read were almost all positive or incorrectly negative. For example:
Overly priced: actually, camrys are cheaper this year than years past. List price is 17.5k, far cheaper than an altima or accord.
Transmission problems: this is almost pure BS. it's the same transmission as in a Lexus. If you have problems it's not because on average the transmissions are bad, it's because you happend to get one that is bad.
handling: i don't know about the other models, but mine handles great because of the sport suspension, steering wheel, and narrower front tires. the only shaking i notice is that the suspension is so good i can feel every bump in the road no matter how small. this is a small price to pay, imho, for the great turning ratio and incredible control from the advanced braking system on turns.
sport transmission: here's one problem i noticed: not all camry's have sport shifting automatic transmission. i can tell that if you want to shift it while driving and it's not the sport suspension, you could probably damage it. the way to tell is that next to the handle it will have an "s." otherwise, if you try to shift it while driving, it will not use a lower gear to accelerate.
warranty: even if you have transmission problems, it is automatically covered by the dealer warranty.
Q: Is a 2007 Toyota Camry Le a good first car for a new driver?
Well i'm a 15 year old guy who is turning 16 in 2 months and I wanted to start looking for a car. They have a really cheap resale price so I know I can find one for a good deal. Are they safe and reliable? Suggestions would be greattt!
A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here - carquotes.sinfree.net
Q: 2007 Toyota Camry LE .....Gas Mileage?
How much mileage do you get from 2007 Camry LE ? I am getting 28 on highway and around 24 in city. Is it acceptable ?
Engine RPM seems little excessive after the Recalibration...
My car had sluggish pick up problem and toyota delear has done recalibration of computer. After the Recalibration pick up is much better but i feel like engine is runnning too fast and its little noicy too. Should i take it to Dealer again ? Will he charge for it ? It has 10000 Miles on it. do you have the same problem with 2007 camry ?
A: 4 Cylinder? 6 Cylinder? Automatic? Stick?
Need to be more specific here...
24 / 28 is pretty good if you have the V6 3.5L but with 24 in the city I would guess you have the 4 cylinder 2.4L, EPA is 21/30
So you are doing OK.

Q: The front wheel on my Toyota Camry 2007 LE is screwed up?
How much will it cost roughly?
The car skidded and slammed into the curb on the icy road and aside from hubcap damage, there looks to be a slight dent on the edge as well. It drives fine straight but the car "hops" when I turn. Also, steering feels to be lighter than usual as well. Is the bearing busted?
A: You bent more than just a wheel. No easy internet answer here. You need to take it to a shop to get inspected.
Q: Anyone own a 2007 Toyota Camry LE? What do you think about it?
I read different reveiws on it and most of them were not good. I recently bought one and I love it. The only thing I find is it lacks in power.
A: The transmissions are a piece of junk. Even if they don't fail, they shift hard and at inappropriate times. Stay away from them.

Driver side.
A: Wrecking yard or dealership.

Q: Gas mileage of 2007 Toyota Camry LE V6?
Is there much difference in the performance and gas mileage of V6 and I4 engines of 2007 Camry. Are there any other suggestions for a new reliable car in Camry's segment
A: The 4 cyl. is a better buy .It is better on gas. It needs less maintenance when it gets older . It will last as long or better than anything on the road. I have one , in four years i had NO trouble whatso ever .It's a lot cheaper to buy as well . The only thing i dont like on the new ones is the missing bodyside molding and the standart rear discbrakes ,they can give you trouble if you dont do your maintenance.

I want an in dash gps system. Circuit City, Best Buy sell really great ones, but they are incompatible with my car. Does anyone know of an aftermarket in dash gps that works with this vehicle?

Q: have a 2007 Toyota Camry le and it jurks hard when I stop and they reprogram it and it is still doing it?
